The Congreso Internacional de Ciencia de Datos (CICD) 2026 is an academic conference focused on the latest advances in data science, machine learning, data visualization, and intelligent systems, among other related areas, carried out by the Benemérita Universidad Autonóma de Puebla

This edition will take place at Ciudad Universitaria (CU), in Puebla, at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla. The conference is organized in collaboration with the Facultad de Ciencias de la Computación and aims to foster academic exchange at national and international levels. Some keynote talks will be broadcast through an online platform.

The CICD 2026 is designed as an open venue for researchers and students to present early, ongoing, or completed research on data preprocessing, exploratory analysis, predictive modeling, artificial intelligence applications, and data governance.

Submitted papers will be reviewed using a double-blind peer review process. Therefore, submissions must not contain author-identifying information or self-referencing citations. Also, the papers will be passed through AI detection to ensure that only high-quality works are produced. Accepted papers will be published in a scientific proceedings volume with an assigned ISBN.

All accepted papers for the conference proceedings must be written in English.

Paper guidelines

Papers should be prepared according to the author guidelines indicated in the template, and they should be a maximum of twelve (12) pages long including references. The page size is letter.

All papers must be submitted in electronic format as PDF files before the submission deadline. All papers are subject to a single-blind review process. All papers are written in Spanish. A paper must be submitted via the CMT online submission system: CICD
